Tuğçe Bozkurt is admitted to Istanbul Bar.

Her expertise encompasses a focus on regulatory compliance, including data protection & privacy legislation, internet laws, as well as anti-money laundering (AML), counter financing of terrorism (CFT), and know your customer (KYC) regulations. Her previous experiences extend to areas such as corporate law, contractual strategy, product consultancy by design, and commercial litigation.

She mainly assists clients including crypto asset service providers, asset tokenization projects and decentralized protocols, along with the web2 e-businesses, seeking to achieve an efficient balance between the statutory prescriptions and particular business objectives.

An alumna of Istanbul Okan University, Tuğçe pursued advanced legal studies culminating in an LL.M. in Technology Law from Istanbul Bilgi University with a dissertation titled “DAOs and Their Legal Classification in Turkey and the United States”, underlining her understanding of cutting-edge legal issues.

Following her LL.M., she joined Bocconi University in Italy, as a visiting research fellow with a particular focus on interplay between decentralization and European Union regulations.

Prior to joining Ünsal Law, Tuğçe served as Legal Counsel for Crypto.com, where she exhibited comprehensive knowledge of data privacy regulations across multiple jurisdictions including EU and Turkey. She provided counsel to Crypto.com Turkey on multifaceted legal challenges coming from different directions. Tuğçe also gained valuable experience as a corporate attorney at a respected law firms and companies in İstanbul.
